Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Digital Marketing, Lead Generation & Business Development Specialist to lead our client acquisition efforts on platforms like Upwork and similar freelancing networks, while also managing our email marketing, SEO strategies, paid advertising campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.

This is a 100% remote position, perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and other relevant platforms.
  • Research and prospect new clients via LinkedIn, email outreach, and other channels.
  • Build targeted lead lists and manage outreach campaigns to generate qualified leads.
  • Develop compelling proposals, pitches, and follow-ups to close high-quality projects.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.

Email Marketing

  • Create and manage engaging email marketing campaigns for lead generation and client engagement.
  • Segment audiences, write persuasive copy, and optimize for open and click-through rates.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance to improve results over time.

SEO & Paid Ads

  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and develop SEO strategies to improve organic visibility.
  • Perform SEO-related tasks such as link building, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO.
  • Create and manage Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns.
  • Monitor ad performance, adjust targeting and creatives, and ensure positive ROI.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, lead generation, email marketing, SEO, and paid ads.
  • Demonstrated success in generating qualified leads and converting them into clients.
  • Proven track record of winning projects on platforms like Upwork (must share portfolio or examples).
  • Google & Meta certifications strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, and HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot Marketing Hub).
  • Graphic design or creative direction experience is a plus.
